Week as of February 8th- 12th

Dates to keep in mind.
Monday February 8th Games Presentation by groups (graded)
Thursday February 11th Half Day - students will be dismissed at 11:00am Teachers Training 6+1
Friday February 12th Spring Break Holiday.
Pop Quizzes will be given any day therefore students will benefit from practicing daily working in the H.W. assignments and playing the games.
Students are to manage the Divisibility Rules for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9 and 10

An activity to reinforce this will e held during each of the following Block Period.
For this activity students are to bring an individual bag of Skittles and a calculator, colors and markers.

This week we will begin working with Rational Numbers. Students will explore Rational Numbers, reviewing how to multiply and divide fractions and add and subtract like and unlike fractions. They will also practice how numbers, and determine GCF(Greatest Common Factor) and the LCM (Least Common Multiple). Tehy will examnine measures of central tendency. They will continue to solve equations and identify sequences.

They will need to know how to :
Write Fractions as Decimal
Convert mixed Number to Improper Gractions and viceversa
Multiply and Divide Rational Numbers
